What Streaky is
Streaky is a habit tracker for iOS and Android. You add the things you want to do daily, you tick them off, and the app keeps score: current streak, best streak, a heatmap of the last fifteen weeks, progress rings for today, this week and this month, and 24 achievements that unlock as you go.
That is the whole product. There is no social feed, no coaching, no AI assistant and no productivity methodology to learn. It is a checklist with a good memory.
The three rules it is built on
1. Your data stays on your device
Streaky has no backend. There is no server holding a copy of your habits, because there is no server at all. Every habit, check-in, streak and achievement lives in local storage on your phone, sandboxed so other apps cannot read it. Uninstall the app and the operating system deletes all of it.

2. No account, ever
You can install Streaky and log your first habit within thirty seconds. There is no sign-up form, no email verification, no social login and no free trial that quietly becomes a subscription. A tool for ticking boxes does not need to know who you are.
3. Free, and honest about why
Streaky is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. That is the entire business model, and it is why there is no paywall on any feature. The ads are non-personalized, so the network is not building a behavioral profile from what you track. Your habits are never sent anywhere, because there is nowhere to send them.

Why streaks
Most habits pay out on a delay measured in months. You do not feel fitter after one run. That gap between effort and reward is where motivation usually dies, and a streak fills it with something that responds the same evening.
Streaks also have a known failure mode: one missed day resets the counter to zero and people read that as total failure. Streaky keeps your best streak alongside the current one, and shows a heatmap and completion rates, so a single bad night does not erase the evidence of a good month. The reasoning behind that design is in why streaks work and when they backfire.
What Streaky will not do
- Sync across devices. There is no cloud, so there is nothing to sync with.
- Back your data up automatically. You can export everything to a JSON file from Profile, Export data, and we recommend doing it occasionally.
- Send you email. We do not have your address.
- Charge you later for something that is free today.
